Some self-helping tips for depression (ZT)

1. When you are overwhelmed by daily duties, try to break down a large task to
small pieces, force youself to follow the steps one by one, even when you are
depressed and feel fatigue and not energized as you normally are.

2. Always warn yourself to do the first priority things, and if necessary give
up those lowest priority things. You won't regret by this way, as this can
save you time and you won't be overwhelmed.

3. When confronting a problem, rather brainstorm several
choices/solutions/improvement than ruminating and restrict yourself to a
sound-perfect but actually not practical "solution" which can never be
realized. i.e. to transform problems/pressure to chance to improve yourself,
rather than a trigger to bring down your self-esteem, self-confidence and let
you feel humiliate or guilty. Remember, nobody is perfect, there is nothing
wrong to have weakness, but you'd better change it and improve yourself by
admitting it, for your own goodness.  

4. For better relationship, try communicate, communicate, and communicate. and
understanding. Most people are reasonable. If they don't response well to your
words, that doesn't mean you said something, that maybe he has just had a bad
day and is thinking about his own trouble. So don't be scared by talk and
intimate talk.  

Remember: the biggest enemy is yourself. Nothing else is difficult. After you
overcome it, you will know: the capable person won't feel difficult, and the
people who feel difficult won't be capable to the task.
