根据2002年世界卫生组织“针灸临床研究报告的回顾与分析,抑郁症(包括抑郁性神经症和中风后的抑郁症)属于"已通过临床对照试验,证明针灸是一种有效的治疗方法的疾病",针灸治疗抑郁症完全是有科学依据,而且通过临床检验的。
